Anesthesia Tech provides assistance and has advanced knowledge of anesthesia instruments, techniques, supplies & technology.

• Involved in planning, setting up, calibrating, trouble shooting and making minor repairs of anesthesia equipment.
• In emergency situation, must be able to anticipate additional equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assists the anesthesia provider in positioning patients and equipment and placing non-invasive monitoring devices on patients.
• The technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling the equipment.
• Responsible for stocking and restocking and ordering of of supplies.
• Responsible for performing quality control checks on required equipment.
• Disposes hazardous waste. 

High School graduate.

CPR certification required.

Knowledge of medical terms preferred.

Mechanical background preferred.

Must be flexible, detail oriented and able to set and balance priorities.
