Assist mechanics with repairs and service as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Transport vehicles, supplies and equipment as needed anywhere within our Health System.
Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and vehicle such as ambulances, automobiles, and trucks. Make field repairs as needed. Perform general tire and repair work on equipment and vehicles. Perform field or shop inspections of heavy and light equipment to determine cost of repair needs or estimate cost of repair.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Current valid NC driver's license with a good driving history. EMS certification or experience preferred. Secondary technical education or experience in the automotive repair field preferred.
