The Office Coordinator ensures smooth operations by supporting the Director and Respiratory Supervisors with administrative tasks such as payroll, record-keeping, supply orders, and staff education coordination.
 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and Respiratory Supervisors.

  • Manage correspondence.

  • Order supplies and equipment.

  • Maintain departmental files.

  • Handle timekeeping and payroll responsibilities.

  • Create patient service charges.

  • Manage departmental databases.

  • Coordinate staff continuing education and competency validation activities.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education: Associate degree in Medical Office, Office Systems Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years in an administrative or business setting; healthcare environment experience with some familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with strong overall computer skills.
