We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of anesthesia instruments, techniques, supplies, and technology. This role involves planning, setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and making minor repairs to anesthesia equipment. Responsibilities

    • Assist anesthesia providers in positioning patients and equipment.
    • Place non-invasive monitoring devices on patients.
    • Plan, set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs to anesthesia equipment.
    • Anticipate additional equipment and supplies needed in emergency situations.
    • Clean, disinfect, and reassemble anesthesia equipment.
    • Stock, restock, and order supplies.
    • Perform quality control checks on required equipment.
    • Dispose of hazardous waste.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and supply inventory.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge of medical terms preferred.
  • Mechanical background preferred.
  • Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to set and balance priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
