Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food for patients and customers using standardized recipes.

  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and equipment guidelines are followed meticulously.

  • Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of new recipes, products, and menus.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to continuously improve food quality and presentation.

  • Monitor food inventory and communicate needs to the kitchen management.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED preferred.

  • Culinary training is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook, specifically in food production tasks within an institutional setting.

  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for culinary arts.
